Service Performance

Services are delivered according to the milestones and timelines outlined in the Agreement. We apply professional judgment and commercially reasonable efforts to complete each Project.

Proposal Validity and Scope

Proposals issued by remotedevops.org remain valid for thirty (30) days from the date provided. If not accepted within that period, we may revise and resubmit the proposal.

Fees, Expenses, and Taxes

Unless clearly included in the Agreement:

  • Third-party costs are billed separately.
  • Approved out-of-pocket expenses may be invoiced at cost.
  • Clients are responsible for applicable taxes related to the Services.

Payment Terms

Invoices are due within five (5) days of issuance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment schedules may follow milestone-based arrangements as defined in the Agreement.

Scope Changes

All requests to modify the scope of work must be made in writing.

Minor adjustments that do not significantly affect timeline or cost may be handled within the existing Agreement. Substantial changes that alter scope, budget, or delivery schedule require a new or supplemental written agreement.

Revised proposals related to scope adjustments remain valid for fourteen (14) working days unless otherwise specified.

Project Delays

If delays occur due to the client’s failure to provide required materials, approvals, or decisions, timelines will be extended accordingly.

If delays arise on our side, we will communicate promptly and make reasonable efforts to minimize impact.

Events beyond either party’s reasonable control may result in schedule extensions and will not be considered a breach.

Review and Acceptance

Before submission, Deliverables undergo internal checks.

The client has seven (7) working days from delivery to review the work and provide written feedback. Issues identified within the agreed scope will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

If no feedback is received within the review period, the Deliverables may be considered accepted.

Client Obligations

Clients must provide lawful, accurate, and ready-to-use materials necessary for the Project.

Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for final proofreading and verification of content. Timely decisions regarding third-party services involved in the Project are also required.

Attribution and Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may include a discreet attribution in digital Deliverables. We may also reference completed Projects in our portfolio or promotional materials in a factual manner.

Neither party should unreasonably object to accurate references to completed work.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of non-public information exchanged during the Project. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available or lawfully obtained from other sources.

Confidential information will not be disclosed to third parties except as necessary to perform Services or where required by law.

Independent Contractor Status

remotedevops.org operates as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or exclusivity unless explicitly stated in writing.

We may engage subcontractors where appropriate while remaining responsible for the Services provided.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Services are provided “as is.” Our total liability in connection with any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific Services giving rise to that claim.

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use the Final Deliverables as outlined in the Agreement.

Company Tools and proprietary frameworks remain the property of remotedevops.org unless expressly transferred in writing. Restrictions on modification or derivative works may apply as specified in the Agreement.

Support and Maintenance

Ongoing support or maintenance services are provided only if expressly agreed. Such services may be billed separately.

Any warranty may be void if the Deliverables are modified by third parties without our involvement.

Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on remotedevops.org governs current use. Continued use of the website or Services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
